Kathmandu - 08 Nov. 2011 -- After more than a week of closure, airports are open for Everest climbers and trekkers are free to fly. We at Hardcore Nepal will be sending our peak climbers up to Lobuche and Mera starting Nov. 10th. As of today, skies are clear and sunny!
Lukla Airport closes at least one time per year because of weather, but this has been the longest closure in several years. Let's hope the weather stays nice for the remainder of our trekking season (which ends in mid-December).
